| Abstract: | The objective of this study was to determine the level of junk food consumption of the students of the “República de Chile” Educational Unit by applying the Junk Food Intake Measure (JFIM) survey. The study was carried out through quantitative research with a descriptive and cross-sectional approach. The results obtained indicated that the majority of students have a high consumption of junk food. |
| Translated abstract: | El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar el nivel de consumo de comida chatarra de los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa “República de Chile” mediante la aplicación de la encuesta Junk Food Intake Measure (JFIM). El estudio se llevó a cabo a través de una investigación cuantitativa con un enfoque descriptivo y de corte transversal. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que la mayoría de los estudiantes presentan un consumo elevado de comida chatarra. |
