Alfabetización digital en tiempos de COVID. Estudio de caso, escuela fiscal Simón Bolívar de Angamarca

Abstract

The objective of this article is to investigate and analyze the advantages and disadvantages that arose for the students and teachers of the Simón Bolívar de Angamarca School during virtual classes in the pandemic period and through them to know the percentage of students and teachers that they had difficulties to adapt and likewise to establish what were the alternatives that the teachers took so that their students do not discontinue their learning in the academic field. Through the proposed theme we also want to establish which of the two parties had the greatest inconvenience in adapting to the virtual world; that is, the students or the teachers. The chosen topic has been carried out based on knowing the experiences of the children and teachers of the Simón Bolívar de Angamarca Fiscal School, said investigation was carried out based on the information obtained through interviews that were applied to children, parents, teachers and rector of said school, as well as the support of an external teacher and an educational technology professional. It is important to emphasize that the school where our analysis was carried out is located in a vulnerable sector of the city. With the aforementioned we can say that virtual education was affected by 75% in the students since they come from low-income families and at the beginning of this modality it is the sector where the majority of its students are located, they lacked technological instruments. and internet connectivity.
