Propuesta de mejora de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional bajo la metodología Lean Safety en una mediana empresa de fabricación y distribución de aluminios, vidrios, maderas y perfilería metálica

Abstract

This technical project focuses on the field of occupational safety and health to examine, the field study is focused on a single institution that belongs to the Guayaquil company dedicated to the distribution of aluminum and glass. Due to the rights of the organization the real name will not be used and a fictitious name "Company dedicated to the distribution of aluminum and glass" will be given. The objective of the study is to use the tools of the Lean Safety methodology to achieve improvements in the management of occupational health and safety. The development began with the creation of the theoretical foundations where it includes information regarding occupational safety and health for the aluminum and glass distribution company and specific concepts on occupational safety and health. The Lean Safety model to be proposed to the aluminum and glass distribution company will allow efficiently the reduction and management of occupational risks, generating in turn a true culture of prevention, for this a methodology of Lean Safety will be developed and this requires: Field study, Risk Matrix and from this we derive the lean safety tools which are: visual management, Gemba walk, kaizen based on the 5s and finally a safety manual. Thanks to these tools they will be able to have a better safety, health and continuous improvement. As a result, the answers to the questionnaire were obtained and after that the formats that will help to manage safety in the work areas of the company in order to mitigate risks were made.
