Abstract: | A study was carried out to validate a mathematical model capable of estimating the power produced by a photovoltaic system from solar radiation measured by a weather station, these values were entered into a mathematical model to obtain the modeled power. To measure the real power of the system, a datalogger was used, after that, by means of the Root Mean Square Error, these two groups of power data could be compared. The result of 10.6% error showed that the mathematical model can quite accurately predict the power produced by a photovoltaic system. |
