Abstract: This article was developed with the aim of analyzing the factors and everything that encompasses the metaverse and its impact in educational contexts, considering that education is always looking for ways and ways to innovate in search of quality, therefore, the feasibility of the implementation and use of virtual platforms focused on virtual reality, immersion and metaverse is being studied. These tools manage to dynamize and facilitate the teaching and learning processes. This article was developed based on an exploratory methodology with a descriptive approach where a search of scientific articles, reports and research papers related to the metaverse was carried out, obtaining relevant works that allow determining the technological and social factors in the current context for the implementation of metaverse technologies in the Ecuadorian environment.
Translated abstract: El objetivo del artículo es analizar los factores del metaverso y su impacto en contextos educativos, teniendo en cuenta que la educación siempre está buscando maneras y formas de innovar en busca de la calidad, se está estudiando la viabilidad de la implementación y la utilización de plataformas virtuales enfocadas a la inmersión y metaverso. The objective of the article is to analyze the factors of the metaverse and its impact on educational contexts, taking into account that education is always looking for ways and means to innovate in search of quality, the feasibility of the implementation and use of platforms is being studied. virtual games focused on immersion and metaverse.
