Abstract

This technical project shows the development of a preventive maintenance plan for the vehicle fleet of the transport company TRAPUCA C.A. located in the rural parish of Puembo, it begins with the search for information methodologies about the maintenance that is being carried out in the passenger transport units, similar theses, references, texts that helped form a reference format. The technical project continues with the collection and documentation of all the information that the company "TRAPUCA C.A." with the purpose of verifying the current conditions of the vehicle fleet, and with it, knowing the state of each of its equipment, in such a way that the most common failures of the units and their systems are identified. they tend to be more critical due to the constant work they do. Subsequently, the information provided by the company will be analyzed where the record sheets will be examined, later the indicators will be analyzed and obtained, which will help to order by type of unit, according to its monthly use and most common failures of each system. A criticality analysis will be carried out on the most essential systems that are part of the company's units, then, with the effects achieved, the most critical systems of the transport units will be chosen and with the help of the failure mode and effects analysis. (AMFE), where with the results obtained it will be possible to develop an optimal preventive maintenance plan in which it will consist of a good development for the different activities, their periodicity and what is needed to correctly execute the maintenance of the most critical systems. Finally, with these so-called registration sheets that the company "TRAPUCA C.A." and the results obtained through the AMFE analysis, an efficient preventive maintenance plan will be proposed and developed, based on an Excel matrix, in order to optimize the performance of the units, postponing their useful life, based on the correct development of maintenance. made monthly.
