Abstract

In the commercial-services area, a great lack of knowledge of the management and use of the new accounting systems can be identified, as well as the impact that they have had in facilitating the management of accounting information. For this reason, the main objective of this research is to verify the impact of the new accounting systems on the companies that are dedicated to the economic activities of commerce and service in the metropolitan district of Quito in the parish of La Concepción in the sector of San Carlos. This study will be carried out in several companies that are dedicated to the activities on the basis of a survey that will serve to obtain data and see the objectives already set out, verify whether it is really feasible to implement an accounting system, the ease of handling accounting information and even see the reduction of time when presenting financial reports for decision making.
