Abstract

In this degree work, the repowering and automation of the automatic packaging and sealing machine for water pouches for the company “Super 33 4x4”. To automate and repower the machine is the main objective, since at this moment it is out of production line, which has a bad design of packaging and sealing, after several attempts to tune the machine was not obtained results for a good performance, Therefore, the repowering includes the beginning of the functions of the packaging machine through an improvement in the different systems, in the same way it will be done in the automation part of the machine, which will allow the production of 500 ml and 4 liters water bags with a better quality standard. In order to carry out the repowering, an evaluation and diagnosis of each of the systems will be made so that we can determine which are the elements that must be replaced and reused, verifying each one of the areas. In the automation part, a LOGO control device was used by programming ’ LADDER in LOGOsoft software. The results of this plan is to achieve the repowering and automation of the machine, which allows an efficient and accurate operation to enter the production line. After having concluded with the work of the machine by carrying out the replacement of obsolete parts, we will proceed to its respective automation and various operational tests. The packaging machine complies with the different cycles required for its correct operation.
