Construcción de imaginarios sociales a partir del análisis del discurso del personaje animero en la parroquia Cubijíes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research study is to analyze the social imaginaries that are created from the discourse of the character "El Animero" among the inhabitants of the parish of Cubijies, and how these are still reproduced from generation to generation, this tradition is still maintained today, after the research it was found that an important factor for its existence is the faith in the Catholic religion that is still maintained among the inhabitants of the sector. By conducting in-depth interviews with people living in the parish, it was determined that the presence of the Animero influences the behavior of the Cubijeños, as it has become an iconic character and part of their cultural identity, they consider it as a reference and reminder of death. Whoever wishes to go to heaven must perform this act as penance the nine days before the first of November, for nine years, so the soul of the animero will be purified and may enter the kingdom of God.
