| Abstract: | The purpose of this text is to determine the feasibility of the practice of agroecology as an alternative for local development in indigenous women of the Selva Alegre parish of the Saraguro city in the province of Loja, as a way to boost local capacities of farmers to be able to produce and value the products of the area, guaranteeing family food sovereignty. |
| Translated abstract: | El propósito del presente ensayo es determinar la factibilidad de la práctica de la agroecología como alternativa para el desarrollo local en la mujer indígena de la parroquia Selva Alegre del cantón Saraguro en la provincia de Loja, como una forma de impulsar las capacidades locales de los agricultores para poder producir y valorar los productos de la zona, garantizando la soberanía alimentaria familiar. |
