| Abstract: | The evangelical texts materialize in written form the oral tradition about the life of Jesus. In the John’s Gospel, we find stories in which we can outline both the personality and the faith process of Simon Peter: new identity, confession of faith, denial and confession of love. Thanks to the diachronic (exegetic) and synchronic (narrative) methods, it is possible to understand and deepen this process of faith, while the reader is invited to feel challenged and reflected in the person of Peter in his encounter with Christ. |
| Translated abstract: | Los textos evangélicos materializan de manera escrita la tradición oral sobre la vida de Jesús. En el Evangelio Joánico, encontramos relatos en los podemos perfilar tanto la personalidad y el proceso de fe de Simón Pedro: nueva identidad, confesión de fe, negación y confesión de amor. Gracias a los métodos diacrónico (exegético) y sincrónico (narrativo) es posible comprender y profundizar dicho proceso de fe, a la vez que se invita al lector a sentirse interpelado y reflejado en la persona de Pedro en su encuentro con Cristo. |
