| Abstract: | In the following document we find a work that was dedicated to calculating the prevalence of glanders "Burkholderia mallei" in equines in the canton of Cuenca and its surroundings. The results were a prevalence of 0% and a negative case of high reactivity, which suggests a suspicion, however, it should be tested with a larger sample. |
| Translated abstract: | En el siguiente documento encontramos un trabajo que se dedicó a calcular la prevalencia de muermo “Burkholderia mallei” en equinos en el cantón Cuenca y sus alrededores. Los resultados fueron una prevalencia del 0% y un caso negativo de alta reactividad, lo que sugiere una sospecha sin embargo se deberá probar con una muestra más grande. |
