| Abstract: | The objective of this research was to determine the prevalence of Toxoplasma gondii, in students of the Veterinary Medicine school of the Salesian Polytechnic University of the city of Cuenca, through the Elisa Indirecta technique. Blood samples were taken from each of the students from different cycles and teachers. In order to obtain results that allow us to identify how exposed Veterinary Medicine students are to this parasite. |
| Translated abstract: | La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la prevalencia de Toxoplasma gondii en estudiantes de la cerrera de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana de la ciudad de Cuenca, mediante la técnica de Elisa Indirecta. Las muestras sanguíneas fueron tomadas a cada uno de los estudiantes de diferentes ciclos y docentes. Con el objetivo de obtener resultados, que nos permitan identificar que tan expuestos están los estudiantes de Medicina Veterinaria a este parásito. |
