Vivir y trabajar en las Peñas, desafíos y oportunidades

Abstract

The Las Peñas neighborhood is located on Santa Ana hill, which, with 475 years of tradition in the city of Buenos Aires in the field of art, culture, and entrepreneurship, maintains its activities even after two years of the pandemic. In this sense, a decrease in the sales of the different stores that are still active stands out, while other stores have closed due to their unfavorable results. The present research work with the theme "Living and working in Las Peñas, challenges and opportunities", is approached through a qualitative methodology and ethnographic design, through in-depth interview techniques, life stories and participant observation, it is intended to identify the problems of this sector and highlight the causes that prevent its economic reactivation, so that through a documentary radio testify its commercial and socio-environmental development.
