| Abstract: | The results reveal that, in social networks, the contents related to the management of the pandemic and its effects predominated and that, in the information concerning Ecuadorians who could not return, which was a minority, the promotion of the institutional image prevailed in management in the emergency. Added to this was a disagreement between issues of interest to compatriots and the Foreign Ministry. |
| Translated abstract: | Los resultados revelan que, en las redes sociales, predominaron los contenidos relacionados con el manejo de la pandemia y sus efectos y que, en la información concerniente a los ecuatorianos que no podían volver, que fue minoritaria, prevaleció la promoción de la imagen institucional en la gestión en la emergencia. A esto se sumó un desencuentro entre los temas de interés para los compatriotas y la Cancillería. |
