Factores relacionados con el estado de ánimo de los adultos mayores de la ciudad de Quito sector norte del barrio La Luz en el periodo 2021 – 2022

Abstract

The present investigation will examine aging, which maintains erroneous ideas of this stage, thus achieving an impact of the quality of life in the elderly person, thus the theory of the vital cycle is considered, being thus that old age is a process of maintenance in old age with gains and losses, in turn it will respond to the sociodemographic variables that are related to mood, the influence of the quality of life in its different dimensions is taken into account, in this way it is identified whether or not there is a relationship with anxiety and depression. At first, an introduction of the life cycle will be given, then we will proceed to establish the correlations between mood states with sociodemographic variables and dimensions of quality of life; to evaluate depression, the Yesavage reagent was considered, to measure anxiety the Beck Inventory was considered, and to obtain a profile of quality of life and its dimensions the FUMAT Scale was used. In this way, the present study will be decisive to be able to evaluate the mood factors in the elderly people of the La Luz neighborhood.
