| Abstract: | The present systematization of experiences develops historical data of San Juan de Gualaceo, with a description of its main traditions with the purpose of revaluing its patrimonial condition, which is the basis of its cultural identity. The main traditions and customs of this town are also pointed out and those that must be preserved are: the celebration of the carnival, the Parochialization festivities and planting. Based on a fieldwork, knowledge about the traditions of San Juan is analyzed and suggestions and recommendations are made to strengthen these traditions among the people of San Juan, seeking that its inhabitants unite to achieve development processes that are based on the main manifestations. cultures that the Parish possesses. |
| Translated abstract: | La presente sistematización de experiencias se desarrolla datos históricos de San Juan de Gualaceo, con una descripción de sus principales tradiciones, con la finalidad de revalorizar la condición patrimonial, la cual es la base de su identidad cultural. Se señalan también las principales tradiciones y costumbres de esta localidad y se señalan aquellas que se deben preservar: la celebración del carnaval, las fiestas de Parroquialización y la siembra. Se analiza en base a un trabajo de campo, el conocimiento sobre las tradiciones de San Juan y se plantean sugerencias y recomendaciones para fortalecer estas tradiciones entre los sanjuanenses, buscando que sus habitantes se unan para alcanzar procesos de desarrollo que se basen en las principales manifestaciones culturales que posee la Parroquia. |
