Abstract

Water, considered the main natural resource of the planet, is of great importance to governments that have been concerned about its management and protection. Community participation is an ancestral and cultural mechanism that has ensured that communities, through drinking water and irrigation management boards, have a fundamental role in the management and administration of water and water recharge.
