| Abstract: | The sudden appearance of the Covid-19 pandemic affected trade at a global level, which is why an analysis was made of the impact that the epidemic had on the non-oil export sector of Ecuador in 2020. With the results obtained it was evidenced that The sector did not record such severe losses, but the weight of agricultural products and the scant diversification in the country's export basket and the almost non-existent added value in the products it exports were evidenced. |
| Translated abstract: | La aparición repentina de la pandemia Covid-19 afecto el comercio a nivel global, es por ello que se hizo un análisis sobre el impacto que tuvo la epidemia en el sector exportador no petrolero del Ecuador en el 2020. Con los resultados obtenidos se evidenció que el sector no registró pérdidas tan severas, pero si se evidencio el peso que tiene los productos agrícolas y la escasa diversificación en la cesta exportable del país y el casi inexistente valor agregado en los productos que exporta. |
