“Optimización y generación de reportes de los módulos del sistema contable RUA”

Abstract

The Salesian Community was using an obsolete accounting system to manage their business. Therefore, we offered a project named: "Optimization and generation of reports of the modules of the RUA accounting system", that included new functionalities such as generation of reports, petty cash payments, accounting entry, inventory filtering, some functions of Kardex and another features like: print reports with graphics, edit administrator permissions, group modules in a unified menu, link modules, improve report views, grant and remove permissions to profiles. The methodology used to manage the project was SCRUM since through this it's maintain a continuous interaction with the client, besides, to solve the needs of the project, offering swift and malleable responses to optimize the projects according to the client's requirements. SCRUM works with short fixed cycles even of interactions with the client, showing persistent results, as well as makes a few adequate changes. The tests carried out revealed that the system is reliable with a performance less than 120 seconds, verifying that the requirements have the necessary quality to be functional and that it can have a large processing capacity demanded by the user.
