Validación y rediseño de material didáctico para el aprendizaje de la lengua achuar para segundo año en el CECIB Kuyach.

Abstract

The objective of the preparation of the text for the second year of Basic is to overcome the shortcomings that Achuar children have, in the process of reading and writing their mother tongue, which is applied in the Kuyach educational institution. It is located on the border between Ecuador and Peru, an area with few inhabitants who maintain education according to their cultural identity, but do not have teaching materials for reading. That is why it has been thought to develop a material clearly written in the Achuar language. The contents are proposed with the images, so that the students first make a reading visually and then associate with the words. They start from the application of the eclectic method between the phonetic and the communicative. It is planned to start the use of the Achuar language in the educational field, and also to begin to value it, despite the fact that this language is a minority at the level of our country. That is also attached to elaborating following the directions issued by the Model of the Intercultural Bilingual Education System in accordance with the educational needs that are seen in the environment we live in. Considering the situations of the needs to learn reading and writing perfectly in Achuar, it is required to provide this material in the said educational institution. This makes the culture maintain its own identity, customs and language.
