| Abstract: | In this degree project, a prototype radio telescope has been designed and implemented in the 12 GHz band to be used in the telecommunications laboratory of the Salesian Polytechnic University in Guayaquil, with the aim of encouraging students and teachers to set up projects or research in the field of radio astronomy, where their basic knowledge is that which is studied during their careers in subjects such as electronics, automation, telecommunications, among others. For its development a research of the mechanical and electronic design has been carried out based on similar projects that allowed to guarantee the correct functioning of this, considering a preventive maintenance as the lubrication of the gears and review of its wiring. |
| Translated abstract: | En este proyecto de titulación se ha diseñado e implementado un prototipo de radiotelescopio en la banda de 12 GHz para ser usado en el laboratorio de telecomunicaciones de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana en la sede de Guayaquil, con el propósito de incentivar a los estudiantes y docentes a la creación de proyectos o investigaciones en el área de la radioastronomía, donde sus conocimientos base son los que se estudian durante la carrera en materias como electrónica, automatización, telecomunicaciones, entre otras. Para su desarrollo se ha realizado una investigación del diseño mecánico y electrónico basado en proyectos similares que permitieron garantizar el correcto funcionamiento de este, considerando un mantenimiento preventivo como la lubricación de los engranajes y revisión de su cableado. |
