| Abstract: | Cuenca, Santa Ana de los Ríos de Cuenca, a city characterized by its customs and traditions, friendly people and great history. At the end of the twentieth century it received a declaration that is highlighted by the layout of its historic center. Cuenca reached all the conditions to receive this award from UNESCO, which has to be preserved, maintained and strengthened by present and future generations. |
| Translated abstract: | Cuenca, Santa Ana de los Ríos de Cuenca, ciudad caracterizada por sus costumbres y tradiciones, de gente amable y gran historia. A finales del siglo XX recibió una declaratoria que es destacada por el trazado que posee su Centro Histórico. Cuenca reunió todas las condiciones para recibir este galardón; por parte de la UNESCO, la misma que tiene que ser preservada, mantenida y fortalecida por las presentes y futuras generaciones. |
