El uso de ambientes de aprendizaje en niños del subnivel II de una Unidad Educativa Particular en el Sur de la ciudad de Quito

Abstract

Learning environments are physical and social environments organized and regulated with an educational purpose that will enrich the teaching-learning process through experiences that promote interrelationships, the stimulation of sensorial perceptions, the resolution of tasks, the manipulation and discovery of the objects, making them safe and stimulating places to learn by doing. The work proposal in learning environments is part of the pedagogical and curricular definitions of the authorities of the institution, of the teachers, who will design integral spaces for the work game. This research aims to analyze the use of learning environments in sublevel II in a Private Educational Unit in the south of Quito and highlight the importance of its application within the teaching-learning process. The methodology is qualitative, data collected during the 2018-2019 school year are presented, obtained through participant observation, field diaries and application of interviews to teachers to know their vision on early childhood education, work play and its application. In the theoretical section, concepts and characteristics about learning environments, orientations of the Ecuadorian curriculum that allow contrasting the applications made by the educational institution, are presented, references of the teacher-student relationship and the teaching methods to work in these spaces are presented. The results and findings present systematized information responding to our objectives, it is expected that this study will enrich the knowledge of the educational reality in initial education and promote the strengthening of teaching and managerial competencies regarding the use of learning environments.
