Abstract: | The agricultural sector especially in the alimentary industry is increasing more and more worldwide, the organic products represent a great innovation to the quality and alimentary security, this investigation determines the variety of products of this type in Guayaquil through the technique of observation, in which the 3 most important supermarkets were visited, Mi Comisariato, Gran AKI and Supermaxi. Likewise, through a survey directed to 384 heads of household in Guayaquil, an analysis is made of the range of awareness and preferences about the type of organic products they consume. The result is that mainly vegetables, fruits and cocoa are the organic products that have organic certification. In addition, there is a close concept of what is defined as an organic product when considering it as natural, considering that the most important thing when choosing an organic product is the certification since the greatest knowledge that one has is to check the certification label on the packaging to verify its authenticity, taking into account that the preferred organic products are fruits and vegetables. Finally, it was concluded that even though one of the greatest difficulties is the high price, a product with quality is sought, but at a fair price and that it is distributed with more variety in the supermarkets for greater comfort. |

Finalmente, se pudo concluir que, aun cuando, una de las dificultades más grande es el precio alto, se busca un producto con calidad, pero a un precio justo y que se distribuya con más variedad en los supermercados para mayor comodidad. |
