Abstract

The Festival InterDisciplinArte Ecuador is a space that proposes the interaction of three or more artistic expressions based on creativity, with the aim of producing works that reflect the result of their confrontation and dialogue. Ecuador is a multicultural country and cradle of emerging artists that unfortunately have not achieved a deserved recognition at international level. The idea of the festival is precisely to provide a space where this talent can be given greater visibility. The inspiration for the creation of this festival came from the song La Vasija de Barro (The Mud Vessel), because of its historical context and because it is one of the most important works of our cultural heritage. Although La Vasija de Barro marked a milestone in our history, being a work of art that is the result of the genius of icons of our art in the 50's, we can not live in the past and stagnate in the memory of these artists as the only reference of our cultural imagination. Interdiciplinarte Ecuador seeks to encourage new generations of artists, so that taking the example of La Vasija de Barro, they are motivated to revalue our culture through their creations and manage to be the new referents of our art, besides promoting the Ecuadorian cultural identity that has vanished in recent decades because of globalization,
