Memorias de Vinces

Abstract

The following research project exposes canton Vinces (Paris chiquito), as a city full of cultural values, which are not being disseminated by the young and emerging generation, this due to the new technological distractions that globalization has brought with it, causing a fragile and potentially changeable cultural identity that may involve the essential loss of what it is to be a vinceño. Within the description of the work, a bit of the history and legacy that this canton has brought along the years stands out, just as the concepts of historical and collective memory are coined through an auditory product highlighting its importance within of the process of building a cultural identity, evidencing it through stories of the members of said community, highlighting historical and transcendent aspects such as: its history, legacy, festivities, customs and traditions.
