La gestión cultural comunitaria en un barrio del suroriente de Quito

Abstract

Community cultural management is contemplated in the Ecuadorian cultural law issued in 2016, as a democratizing principle of culture; it is part of a process of building cultural policies that seeks to recognize the work that is carried out in the spaces located outside the institution. In other Latin American countries there is an effort to systematize and implement a cultural policy linked to the community. In this space, it is necessary to start a study of the presence of the community and its different interpretations, contents, practices and knowledge; in the construction of Ecuadorian cultural policy.
