Análisis de la violación de derechos humanos, verdad, justicia y reparación en el caso nos faltan tres

Abstract

The main objective of this research work is to show the state of the truth, justice and reparations in the case “Nos faltan Tres”, by following each incident; starting with the car bomb explosion in San Lorenzo, which forced the journalists to travel to that province in order to inform the country about what was happening, then putting into context the kidnapping of Paúl Rivas, Efraín Segarra ,and Javier Ortega, after that we follow the work carried out by the Ecuadorian government in order to negotiate their freedom and safe return to Ecuador, and finally we go into why the rescue operations failed and the journalists returned dead. Making the opinion of the family, the lawyer accompanying the families and a journalist who investigated the events known, is essential in order to understand that the mistakes made by the governments of Ecuador and Colombia cannot be repeated and that protecting the communicator is indispensable to know the truth that accompanies each news event and that marks an agenda in the day-to-day life of Ecuadorians.
