Abstract

This change in the tattoo leads to its meanings being modified, while the reasons why the tattoo is made are also transformed, turning the tattoo into a serial reproduction of other figures already seen, by people who decide to get tattoos. It is understood that the tattoo culture encompasses many styles that are being perfected and transformed to satisfy customers, but at the same time it is also the personal commitment that the tattoo artist has to advance and in this way he can show his art on a new canvas that is the skin. It is important to know the stories behind tattoos in order to identify the reasons and reasons why people choose to mark their skin. The figure or graphic does not communicate these stories with the naked eye, but behind it is a network of anecdotes, special situations that make the tattooed person a unique person who graphs parts of her life on her skin. Understanding these stories allows us to interpret the significance of contemporary tattoos, in addition to abandoning certain negative ideas that have been put on tattoo culture.
