Impacto de la gestión del StartUPS Coworking en el desarrollo de proyectos de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana sede Quito y su inserción en el mercado

Abstract

The area of education constantly evolves and implements practices that contribute to the students to develop skills; a strategy to link the academy with entrepreneurship is the creation of collaborative workspaces that allow students to create ventures, obtain new competences and venture into research. This study analyzes the impact of the management of the StartUPS Coworking of the Salesian Polytechnic University Quito, in the development of projects and their insertion in the market; the main aspects of management considered are: the methodologies used to create the projects, how to determine their viability, the amounts of investment, economic and financial support, and the strategies used to promote investment in the ventures. The type of investigation is explanatory; a survey is carried out on coworking entrepreneurs and an interview to the coordinators of StartUPS Coworking UPS Quito, Campus Girón and Sur. The results obtained determinate that the methodologies used to create the projects had been useful, but have been found obstacles in the projects development and in the management of business in the market mainly the economic aspect; in addition, entrepreneurs require more support and follow-up on specific topics such as: specific training, legal procedures, marketing and sales, financing. It is concluded that StartUPS Coworking UPS Quito can improve management in several areas that affect to the entrepreneurs to established in the market and effectively manage the obstacles encountered.
