El papel del texto escolar “Comprensión y Expresión Oral y Escrita” de primer grado en el diseño y desarrollo del currículo en la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional “Virgen del Consuelo”

Abstract

The school text is fundamental in the teaching-learning process. It is necessary to analyze the text used in the first of basic in the design and development of the curriculum, in the "Virgen del Consuelo" Fiscomisional Educational Unit in order to identify if it complies with the curricular guidelines of the Ministry of Education, if its activities and resources contribute to meaningful student learning. For this, a study is carried out based on the theory about the curriculum, its elaboration process, the functions that it fulfills and its value within the teaching and learning process, as well as its types. Likewise, the elements related to the organization of the curriculum and the reforms of this type that have been carried out in the country with the purpose of perfecting it are reviewed. In the same way, it is examined what refers to the characteristics of the curriculum in the initial education. The school text is studied from its methodological elements, its structure, advantages and disadvantages of its use and the results obtained in the research are analyzed taking into account the study of said text, the observation sheets used, as well as the field diary and the result of interviews with teachers of the Educational Unit under study. This allowed us to obtain several findings focused on the subject of study that help determine the problems with the school text focused on solving them to ensure educational quality. This research has an eminently qualitative and descriptive documentary nature.
