El discurso machista entre integrantes GLBTI en los medios virtuales. Estudio de caso Grindr

Abstract

The conflict that is generated in interpersonal relations through the use of mobile applications exclusively for members of the GLBTI collective in the city of Quito, is the main reason to be able to carry out this research, it is necessary to recognize that there is a machismo exercised among them. From the new technologies and their use to relate to each other, a phenomenon has been generated in which the other is despised, discriminated against and violent through feminization. Through the perspective of several authors and essentially from the analysis of contents on the subject, attempts are made to answer the reason for this behavior and the different reasons why this machismo is exercised; Machismo that in the first instance is illogical but paradoxically is rooted in this sector of the population due to a visual and fulfilling gender roles. The research question around this topic is: How are machista discourses built between the people who make up the GLBTI community and their interpersonal relationship in virtual spaces? , for which it is necessary to reach the understanding of basic terms on this topic and how these practices have been naturalized in the context of the collective..
