Abstract: The purpose of this work is to identify the pests and diseases present in the 26 urban parks of the city of Cuenca. Among the most dominant pests we have Aphrophora salicina (Salivazo), Myzus cerasi F. (black aphid), Planococcus citri (cochineal), in the same way the identification of the diseases present in each area was performed, being the most predominant: Fumagina ( Capnodium sp.) (Black or Coal), Crysoporthe Canker (Canker), Wilsonomyces carpophilus (Screening), Verticillum spp (Withering).
Translated abstract: El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad identificar las plagas y enfermedades presentes en los 26 parques urbanos de la ciudad de Cuenca. Entre las plagas más dominantes tenemos Aphrophora salicina (Salivazo), Myzus cerasi F. (pulgón negro), Planococcus citri (cochinilla), de la misma forma se realizó la identificación de las enfermedades presentes en cada área, siendo las más predominantes: Fumagina (Capnodium sp.) (Negro o Carbón), Cancro Crysoporthe (Cancro), Wilsonomyces carpophilus (Cribado), Verticillum spp (Marchitamiento).
