El rol del texto escolar de matemática en el diseño y desarrollo del currículo de preparatoria, de la Unidad Educativa Municipal Calderón de la ciudad de Quito.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to broaden theoretical-conceptual elements that allow to know the role that the text of mathematics plays which was carried out in the first grade of General Preparatory Basic Education at Unidad Educativa Municipal Calderón, starting from history, until establishing general criteria that can be used in the conception, use given by teachers, analysis and the most relevant contents in the teaching-learning process, dedicated to children based on the ecuador curriculum. For data collectio, the qualitative method and direct observation were used in this research, They allowed us to reach the exact investigative point and established spaces for dialogue, has which It was recorded in a field diary, to then describe, analyze the most relevant and clarify the strategic point about the activities, resources and evaluations involved in the math school text, besides an interview was applied to teachers to corroborate the information. As a conclusión, the use and role of the text of mathematics is a work tool that reinforces the knowledge of students, in the same way to concretize the learning in the field of logical-mathematic srelation is needed the use of concrete material as a priority and finally that this textbook can not substitute the work that the teacher performs since the teacher is who has the knowledge, leads the teaching, allowing the student to explore and acquire his own knowledge.
