Contraste mediático de Teleamazonas del caso David Piña en los años 2013 y 2018.

Abstract

Geovanny David Piña Bueno on September 4, 2013 is sentenced as a material and intellectual author to 25 years in prison in Latacunga for the murder of Karina del Pozo, since 2017 Teleamazonas as a media outlet begins to investigate the case, since there are inconsistencies in the judicial process, there is no physical evidence that involves Piña in the murder he was sentenced only by the testimony of another of those involved Gustavo Salazar. This article shows the contrast of the media content that Teleamazonas issued on the case between 2013 and 2018. Those two years were chosen for the study because they have material that highlights changes in existing positions. This analysis details the difference in the management of speeches contexts images and journalistic techniques. In the contents it is denoted as the passing of time between the two years the journalistic quality and discursive line of the two contents, is different from one another. In 2013 Telemazonas shows a position that points to Piña as guilty and in 2018 the same means of communication in its contents affects the inconsistencies of the case. There are evidences of interviews of two journalists who investigated and followed the case closely in order to validate the results.
