Ensayo fotográfico en base a la memoria e identidad en la parroquia de Cumbayá.

Abstract

This research was carried out in Cumbayá, currently well known for its pleasant climate and for being one of the most exclusive residential areas of the city located 2,200 meters above sea level: very close to Ilaló hill, it has a mild climate most of the year. This study will provide historical information through a photographic review that will envision the development of the parish in both geographical, economic, political, historical, social, religious and cultural aspects. Concepts such as photo essay, memory, identity will be addressed, which will allow us to understand how historical memory is impregnated in photography, for those who witnessed the different stages of this parish; through photography, the myths, parties, customs and traditions of our parish will be identified generationally. In the development of the same one, the process of construction of a photographic essay dedicated to exposing the most relevant aspects of the parish of Cumbayá is observed, a series of photos are collected which will start from the background and formation as a parish, through the development of the fundamental problem, how does the sector lose its cultural identity?, and then proceed to solve the problem raised. The results of the investigation will be delivered to the parish authorities so that they are disseminated at the local and sectional level, which will allow identifying the pros and cons of the obvious change brought about, but above all, that this record is a historical archive of the same.
