Abstract: | A detector was developed that allows the discrimination of different metals conductive in open-pit mining, this detector is implemented in a drone on which will move it through places that are difficult for human beings to access. At the time of find a metal the detector will discriminate and emit a light and sound signal, it will also send a text message to previously chosen mobile devices indicating what type of metal has been found. In the detection circuit, two frequencies enter through two oscillators: fixed frequency through a ceramic resonator and the variable frequency through a coil which is the scan head of the detector, the circuit will make the union of both signals by an algebraic sum giving an audible signal for the being human. The discrimination circuit is the communication between the detector and a board of hardware development that performs a comparison of signals. The project will help organizations or people who perform open-pit mining and they want to find Copper, Iron and Tin in places that are difficult for human beings to access. |
