Abstract: | The present article shows the feasibility of using the Dantzig-Wolfe decomposition algorithm, applied in the electrical field, specifically in an Electric Distribution System (EDS), showing its effects of use before voltage drops. The model is implemented using Matlab tool, and the power flow of the system is simulated in DIgSilent Power Factory software, for its subsequent analysis of voltage drops. The implementation of the Dantzig-Wolfe algorithm is done with the purpose of minimizing the energy production price from renewable sources, present in the Distributed Generation (DG), depending on the distance that each Generation point has to travel to each point of Load, thus maintaining energy efficiency and its required demand. The results show an optimization alternative for the planning of Electric Distribution networks with the incorporation of Distributed Generation. |
