Sistematización de la construcción Socio Territorial de la comuna San Bartolomé de Romerillos

Abstract

A systematization of the experiences of the socio territorial construction of the Romerillos Commune was carried out, which from the analysis of social, political, economic, cultural and environmental aspects reconstruct the configuration of its current reality. The research by its nature is of a qualitative nature with a community approach, according to its objective it is explanatory, for its modality it is of social development and its place is a field investigation. It is proposed to collect knowledge that will transform the reality of the community that will contribute to the enrichment of the generational collective memory. Historical reconstruction is carried out for the benefitof the new generations that will guide the progress of the community. Some environmental protection and recovery actions are identified. The sense of belonging to their territory is promoted. The systematization was carried out through points of view, opinions, reactions and feelings with personal and group perceptions. Certain techniques were used, such as field visits, bibliographical documentation, interviews, testimonies collected especially from older founding adults. Secondary information was also reviewed, such as the Constitution of Ecuador, notes, reports, trades, books, plans and photos. Several field trips were made to verify the advance of the agricultural frontier towards the Santa Cruz hill as well as to verify the destruction of the hills by mining exploitation and also a tour was made along the boundaries of 106,627 hectares to make the outline of the total area and photograph the points in reference.
