dc.descriptionSe evaluó la actividad insecticida, repelente y antialimentaria del aceite esencial de Schinus molle sobre Frankliniella occidentalis para conocer el modo de acción que tiene el aceite sobre el insecto. Se hicieron pruebas de toxicidad por contacto, pruebas de repelencia por el método de libre elección y pruebas antialimentarias utilizando cubos de tomate riñón triturado sin posibilidad de elección. El aceite esencial de Schinus molle mostró actividad insecticida, repelente y antialimentaria sobre Frankliniella occidentalis.spa
dc.description.abstractThe insecticidal, repellent and antifeedant activity of the essential oil of Schinus molle on Frankliniella occidentalis was evaluated to know the mode of action of the oil on the insect. The insects were tested for contact toxicity, repellency tests by the free choice method and antifeedant tests using cubes of crushed kidney tomato without possibility of choice. The essential oil of Schinus molle showed insecticidal, repellent and antifeedant activity on Frankliniella occidentalis.spa
