Abstract

The present communicative project aims to capture the historical memory of the cultural heritage, in a photographic book that includes: images captured through photography and their respective description in prose and verse, on different places and characters that proliferate and string together unique cultural and social expressions, which are felt in the coexistence and daily life that exist and are expressed at Junin Street, located in the neighborhood of San Marcos, in the Historic Center since the beginning of the seventeenth century and is home to an identity forged by several generations, which They have carved their mark in the lines of the history of the capital of the Ecuadorians. The repertoire of the collection of the Junin Street, is glimpsed from its sublime and sublime details, and its characters that house the infrastructures of styles: Baroque, Republican and Neoclassical, adapted to the dissimilar lifestyles that over time have allowed that artisanal crafts flow and endure, proliferate the gastronomic and historical places, which together with several characteristics of this environment, have been basting their history on the patrimonial inheritance, which invites its inhabitants and visitors to wander between inspiration, reverie and remembrances of this emblematic site of Quito.
