Abstract

This research aims to show by means of a documentary video the work of the agents of the order on equal conditions within the institution, in the different functions that must put in practice their training and exert authority to maintain the Peace in public spaces and to prevail the well-being of citizens. The treatment of the topic was worked from a gender perspective that evidence the inclusive, non-sexist, non-gender attitudes and with a rights approach in the different training processes within the institution with the aim of achieving the equality of Participation of men and women in the services of citizen security. In Ecuador the entry of women to the national Police as officers was given in 1997, currently the institution complies with 48,862 members, 42,453 men and 6,409 women; There are no longer any barriers that impede professional development in any area of training within the institution. The focus on research is made from communication, but getting into the relationship order-citizenship to demonstrate the conflicts that women have with the civilian population, the treatment they receive with the uniform and without this position, important for this is Know their training and how they have to deal with sexist comments and attitudes in their work.
