Identificación de la biodiversidad fúngica a través del análisis metagenómico del suelo en el área de la concesión minera Loma Larga Azuay-Ecuador

Abstract

In this research, the fungal burden present in the area of the Loma Larga project was identified, using so much traditional techniques (in vitro isolation) and molecular techniques (metagenomic analysis), the most representative gender found through isolation in vitro were Aspergillus, Penicillium and Trichoderma, while with molecular techniques it was possible to identify both genus and species. According to the results, there is evidence of a high diversity in the microbial load present in the soil of the Loma Larga mining project, which is an indicator of the quality of the environment and the ecosystem.
