Estimulación Sensorial en el aula obscura para niños con Parálisis Cerebral Infantil de las aulas de Inclusión en la Unidad Educativa EMAÚS de Fe y Alegría en el periodo 2017-2018

Abstract

The Sensory stimulation Project in the dark classroom for children with Infantile Cerebral Palsy of the inclusion classrooms in the School EMAÚS of Fe y Alegria in the period 2017 – 2018, it emerged with the purpose of implementing a specific project for children with ICP where they can receive therapies alternative that will be of great help in respect of the need and requirement of the students, this is how the initiative to implement a sensory stimulation is born but executing it in the dark classroom, which will allow us to work the stimuli together activating their sensory integration and obtaining muscle tone relaxation. In order to get all the significant information of students was necessary to use a qualitative methodology such as the observation that allowed us to have knowledge of the area where the project is going to be carried out, the anamnesis that gave us the specific information of the children. In respect of quantitative character, we use the Basic Function Test that gave us knowledge of less and more developed areas, through Battelle Test we could know the age in evolutionary development, the survey that allowed us what was the acceptance of the project, and finally, the weekly planning of the therapies. The sensory stimulation project was made through of 20 sessions which allowed us show results in children with ICP, achieving to get a relaxation of muscle tone having as a result the decrease of it.
