| Abstract: | The present investigation was carried out in the sector of San Joaquín located in the canton Cuenca province of Azuay; whose purpose was to evaluate the weight gain (GP), conversion rate (CI), the percentage of mortality and the cost-benefit ratio of the treatments for this investigation, 300 baby chickens were used. The objective of this research is that producers reduce the use of antibiotics promoting otherwise the use of probiotics to improve weight gain and in the same way economic gains. |
| Translated abstract: | La presente investigación se realizó en el sector de San Joaquín ubicado en el cantón Cuenca provincia del Azuay; cuya finalidad fue evaluar la ganancia de peso (GP), índice de conversión (IC), el porcentaje de mortalidad y la relación costo beneficio de los tratamientos para esta investigación se usaron 300 pollos bebe. El objetivo de esta investigación es que los productores reduzcan el uso de antibióticos promoviendo de otra forma el uso de probióticos para mejorar la ganancia de peso y de la misma forma ganancias económicas. |
