| Abstract: | El presente trabajo está encaminado a elaborar el diseño geométrico y del pavimento del proyecto denominado Diseño Vial Definitivo de la Av. Escalón 2 que inicia en el ingreso al barrio Músculos y Rieles a la altura de la planta de tratamiento de agua potable El Troje con las siguientes Coordenadas Norte: 9963826.641; Este: 497679.677 jurisdicción del Municipio del Sur “Administración Zonal Quitumbe”, en la Provincia de Pichincha hasta enlazar con el Corredor Nueva Avenida Occidental con las coordenadas Norte: 9963638.137; Este: 492434.126, este proyecto consta aproximadamente de 6.028 kilómetros. El presente trabajo consiste en desarrollar la fase de diseño definitivo que consta dentro del proyecto macro de vías propuesto por el Municipio del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito. El Escalón 2 está consolidado en algunos tramos y presenta un alineamiento tipo S, está conformado con lastre en algunos tramos iníciales y de suelo natural en otros tramos, las características de este tipo de vía se indica en la Ordenanza Metropolita No. 3746 de fecha 10 de junio del 2008, con un ancho de 23.00 metros como una vía Tipo Colectora. Las condiciones físicas del Escalón 2 son malas, y en algunas partes presenta exceso de pendiente lo que dificulta el acceso de vehículos de transmisión sencilla. |
| Translated abstract: | The present work is directed to elaborate the geometric and pavement design of the project called Definitive Road Design of Av. Escalón 2 that starts in Entrance to the neighborhood Muscles and Rails at the height of the water treatment plant potable El Troje with the following North Coordinates: 9963826.641; East: 497679.677 jurisdiction of the Municipality of the South "Zitumbe Zonal Administration", in the Province of Pichincha until linking with the New Avenue Corridor Western with North coordinates: 9963638.137; East: 492434.126, this The project consists of approximately 6,028 kilometers. The present work consists of developing the final design phase that consists of within the macro project of roads proposed by the Municipality of the District Metropolitan of Quito. Step 2 is consolidated in some sections and presents a type S alignment, is composed of ballast in some initial sections and natural soil in others sections, the characteristics of this type of road is indicated in the Metropolitan Ordinance No. 3746 dated June 10, 2008, with a width of 23.00 meters as one via Type Collector. The physical conditions of Step 2 are bad, and in some parts presents an excess of slope, which makes it difficult for vehicles to access simple transmission. |
