Análisis matemático y simulación en matlab de la protección diferencial en transformadores de potencia.

Abstract

This project is about the realization of mathematical modeling and simulation in MATLAB of the differential protection in power transformers, which was part of the Salesiana Polytechnic University, headquarters Guayaquil; It will aim to simulate the conditions of operation of the equipment of protection (SEL 587) found in a substation, obtaining the equation that governs the operations of protection differential of this relay, to theoretically analyze the conditions of the system, both in normal conditions and any event of failure (External fault, internal fault) on the side of the primary and/or secondary of the transformer, facilitating students enrolled in past cycles of the career of electrical engineering, learning concepts and principles of operation of electrical power system protection.
