| Abstract: | The present investigation is to determine the role of the male gender over the female in the Shuar ethnic group as well as occupy each of them within their community, that is why it is sought to determine the practices that these people perform and through the process investigation will be able to verify, will allow us an updated knowledge of the gender situation that exists in the shuar communities of the canton El Pangui. |
| Translated abstract: | La presente investigación es para determinar el papel que ejerce el género masculino sobre el femenino en la etnia shuar, así como que ocupa cada uno de ellos dentro de su comunidad, es por ello que se busca determinar las practicas que habitualmente dichos pobladores realizan y que mediante el proceso investigativo se podrá constatar, nos permitirá un conocimiento actualizado de la situación de genero que existe en las comunidades shuar del cantón El Pangui. |
