Abstract

The Ecuadorian identity over the last years has been affected due to the fashions and cultural artistic manifestations that come from abroad, which has moved away much of the national community from the expressions of the locality, within this problematic Addresses the emphasis on the life and work of the composer Carlos Rubira Infante among other outstanding Ecuadorian artists who have contributed with their action to the growth and rescue of the national identity. The development of a radio communication product aims to contribute to this intention, being a fundamental contribution to preserve and strengthen the identities in each of the citizens who have access to such auditory material. The city of Guayaquil is the research center of the present project, this locality has managed to become an important niche of the development of Ecuadorian art and culture, as well as the place of origin of several exponents of music and composition of Ecuador, in addition To welcome artists from other locations. The music, the diffusion and the constant development of the Ecuadorian identity is manifested in a continuous struggle that does not detract from the social and communicative facts, since it depends to a large extent on the mass media for its diffusion, to achieve the main task that Is the one that all the sectors of the society manage to monopolize the identity from the music and the art, to finally they can discover other expressions similar to the Ecuadorian culture.
